Using Fading Scroller Script more then once on a page

Good Mornig All

I am trying to use the Fading Scroller script on my page in two different area to displays different topics. But I am having usual problem of one of the instances not working. I know that the problem is they are conflicting. I can follow and understand javascripts and know what they are trying to do but am not knowledgable when it comes to writing scripts. I have tried a couple different suggestions from different web sites(including this one) but none deal with this particular script. So my question to everyone is can someone explain how to accomplish this task, if it is even possible? I would really be thankful!
