Need a Meetup.com or similar RSVP page

Hi All,

This is my first post on your brilliant forums, i have found this place very useful

Can anyone help me with my site?
I need a RSVP thing on there, as i am trying to set up a site which has a few events and meetings...

I want something like the meetup.com system or something like this one here on this site i found on google - http://www.seattledads.org/Default.aspx?TabId=144

I need people to be able to log in then RSVP "yes, no or maybe" and for their RSVP to be able to be seen by everyone else on the website!!!

Sorry if i have repeated myself there.

Any help would be appreciated, as i don't have a clue about writing languages... if anyone could even just point me to the right place to get what i want, then that would be a help...

Check out this script, I think this is what you are looking for. It does cost (I believe) $22 [US]. There probably are some free ones that are similar, but not sure. Also, the other option would be for you to create one yourself.

Take a look at http://www.php-mysql-tutorial.com and view some of the tutorials. This should at least get you started.

I have checked out the cute groups script that costs $22, but it doesnt enable members to see who else has said yes or no to an event...!!!

Its actually an idea i have been looking into, but i can't find the right calendar

One with an RSVP thing on it would be good, but i am being sent around in circles by google

That link looks very interesting, ill give it a go, however i think it may be a bit too complicated for my average user

None that are free.

Perhaps I could write a VERY simple one for you... Can you use Flash?

I don't mind paying if they are reasonably priced, which they most often aren't

I have only very basic knowledge of flash, and the thing with flash is it would have to be enabled on any of my members computers... and some of them are probably on ancient machines that would slow too much
