Default Interstitial Content Box: Use as a function

    1) Script Title:
    Interstitial Content Box

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...terstitial.htm

    3) Describe problem:

Hi, again, this is a great script. Congratulations! It's exactly what I was looking for.

The script works with predefined files. I want the script to work as a dynamic function, preferrably with an onClick like:

    Code:
    <a href="#" onClick="javascript: MakeInterstitial('example.php');">Click here</a>
    Is this possible?

That script isn't written to easily accommodate that type of use. This one is:

Yep, currently it's difficult to just modify the script so it can be called on demand (ie: onclick). In fact, I gave it a shot when replying to another request here on the forums for that.

The good news is, I'll be sitting down and updating this script soon to allow this. Just need to do it sitting down.

    Great, look forward to it

You may want to make cookies optional -if already not- too

    Hello,

    Thanks for the great script.

I'll be looking forward to the onClick call to the script as well.

I also want to say thanks for the great script.

Are you still planning to add the onClick? I sure would love to use this. My own feeble attempts to modify the script have failed miserably.

Well, I've been working on a script. You may need to wait for the documentation, but the setup is pretty straightforward. There is no configuration required except on the page itself. Try it out anyway:

I've been testing it and it seems just about ready. Any questions you may have would help me in writing the documentation and possibly with improvements.
