Cgi, Php?

Hi, i'm looking for a CGI or a PHP script that will take a text box and print it on the screen. I'm attempting to make a very simple posting system, which is like a bulletin board. So basically i'm looking for something to print a form text box onto the screen. Any help is much appreciated.

Look at the sections about MySQL (Insert, Edit, Delete, Update, etc), and using PHP to do so.
