switch content script - persist question

hi guys

i have recently added the above script to my site and was wondering how i can make it so it persists for the enitre site and not just per page.

i did come across the below thread:

and i then downloaded the switch zip file in that thread. i noticed the thread was from october 2004, and this script was last updated in december 2004, so do i need to replace the enitre script with the zip file, or can any one tell me an easyier way?
