Problem with HV menu 5.5 flash and IE

Hi all,

This is a very strange one.

I am running a flash movie directly under HV Menu v5.5. I have added the <param name="wmode" value="transparent"> and the wmode="transparent" to my flash movie so the submenus appear.

Everything seems fine – however using IE 6 or 7 you need to click twice on a sub menu item before it goes to the relevant page. Clicking once does not do anything. Also, in IE, the submenu seems to load a lot slower.

Try performing the same procedure in Firefox and everything works fine. Does anyone know what can be done to resolve this bug. It might only be very small but it is annoying.

This is the click to activate 'feature' in IE. There are several workarounds. Have a look here:
