marquee issue

I am a newbie at building my own website.I installed the marquee crossbrowser.When i set the pixels to 763px on my laptop for length of marquee it works fine,but when I view it on my larger 17" monitor the crossbrowser marquee is to short.Is there anyway of setting the percentage instead of pixels so it will be the same on all screens?Thankyou in advance.

Currently the marquee only supports abolute (ie: px) dimensions unfortunately.
