Hi, I have just finished the redesign of my site.
It still has some bugs (not valid, IE Trouble)

I love your forum theme, but I hate the theme for the rest of the site, and you really need to preload those images (which should be background images with text over the top, not text-image rubbish).

Don't use XHTML unless you're going to serve it as application/xhtml+xml, and certainly don't use a Transitional DOCTYPE for a new site.

I agree with Twey on the layouts. But phpbb has better ones too. How about some art to go along with all that text?

If I wanted to read a book I would log off the computer

Yeah... Overall it's good, but I think you should replace the text banners with graphic ones. It doesn't check in the validator so well, if I were you I'd get around to working out those bugs too.

Yeah, I want to add thumbnails to the videos, games... but my CMS makes that very hard. And the forum skin is temporary, when phpbb 3 comes out soon, I will make my own. p.s. about the text-images, they use Uni, which is not a standard font so they have to be images or they will show up as times new roman.

So? Better to have them in a font other than the precise one you specify than to have them completely unreadable, no?

I had images disabled, as I get a lot of virii from browsing with them on. I couldn't see any of that.

Okay, not really, just saying.. it has happened to MY site before. You should read those emails! "I came to your site from a recommendation and there is something wrong with your code! I can't see ANY words!"

ROTF... that was before I knew about degrading and fall backs to your fall backs.

Now, (for the most part of the site, not 100&#37

I think my site is even do-able in Lynx with moderate satisfaction. Foregoing the Flash intros and what not.
