Default DD Color Tabs II - Current Tab Color not changing!

Well I solved my previous problem, but have come across another.

I have the 'current' tab color set to black but it does not change when a different tab is selected. How do I fix this?

    Thank you in advance!

Have you set the <li id="current">? Need more info before posting any other suggestions.

    Hope this helps though.

No. I saw that but I wasn't sure how to set it up so I didn't do anything with it.

For the current page, set the li for the tabs to that (id="current") then that should do it for you.

    Hope this helps.

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean by

For the current page, set the li for the tabs to that (id="current") then that should do it for you.

Currently I have the HTML portion set like this...

    <li id="current" style="margin-left: 1px"><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/whats_new.html" title="What's New" target="main_content"><span>What's New</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_forum.html" title="Forum" target="main_content"><span>The Forum</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_archive.html" title="Archive" target="main_content"><span>The Archive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/interactive.html" title="Interactive" target="main_content"><span>Interactive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/contact.html" title="Contact" target="main_content"><span>Contact</span></a></li>

This sets the first tab background as black, which is right, but then when I click on another tab, the first tab remains black instead of switching the color of the tab just clicked.

The other section I have set as so...

    #invertedtabs #current a, #invertedtabs #current span{ /*currently selected tab*/
    background-color: #000000;

Is this the part I'm supposed to change? If so, how?

I don't know why I'm not getting this LOL usually I'm much quicker with things like this *g*

Thanks again, I appreciate your help

Use the following to get an idea of what I mean.

    On what_new.html use:

    Code:
    <li id="current" style="margin-left: 1px"><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/whats_new.html" title="What's New" target="main_content"><span>What's New</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_forum.html" title="Forum" target="main_content"><span>The Forum</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_archive.html" title="Archive" target="main_content"><span>The Archive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/interactive.html" title="Interactive" target="main_content"><span>Interactive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/contact.html" title="Contact" target="main_content"><span>Contact</span></a></li>
    on the_forum.html use:

    Code:
    <li style="margin-left: 1px"><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/whats_new.html" title="What's New" target="main_content"><span>What's New</span></a></li>
    <li id="current"><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_forum.html" title="Forum" target="main_content"><span>The Forum</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/the_archive.html" title="Archive" target="main_content"><span>The Archive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/interactive.html" title="Interactive" target="main_content"><span>Interactive</span></a></li>
    <li><a href="http://www.sinfularchive.com/5-07-lust/contact.html" title="Contact" target="main_content"><span>Contact</span></a></li>
and keep doing this for all the pages.

    Hope this helps.

EDIT: Do you mean it is not changing colors when you click on it to go to a different page, or is it when you mouseover the different tabs?

I tried that, and it made all the tabs black.

My understanding of the script was that you can have the tabs be one color and then whichever tab you are currently on, you can set it to be a different color. This is what is not working. The mouseover color works great.

I have my tabs set to be blue then whichever tab I am currently on is black.

But when I click on another tab and go to another page, the tab I was previously on stays black and the new tab does not turn to black.

God I hope that made sense

Is there a link to the page, maybe it's something in your source code that's there and we don't know about, or you aren't seeing. If you don't want to make it public, send it to me via PM or YIM.

As far as I can see, that is the only thing you need to change (the <li id="current"> thing).

    Hope this helps.
