Search Engine Multi Level Drop Down Menu

Can you tell me if the BLM Multi-level Effect menu http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...menu/index.htm is search engine friendly & crawlable?

I also like the HV Menu but it doesn't look like it is search engine friendly, can someone confirm this?

Do you think it is a good idea to use a row of text links at the footer of a page if you are using a non search engine friendly nav bar at the top of the page?

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Yes, multi-level effect menu is search engine friendly. That is one of the best things about it, it is based off of plain HTML.
