    Default Preload website with css

    Hi there I was wondering if there was a way to preload my website I have made using css here is the address http://www.stevegillen.com

    I have a few images and a flash element playing music and the site takes a little time to load on the first try.



    or if css is not the way to go what about javascript. I have tried flash but im rubbish at it lol

    why not let it load and then give access to the site?

    Yeah... it takes a bit to load. But... so? It's not like it's something unheard of to wait a minute for a site to load. I just don't think too many people would mind. Using javascript (this can't be done in just css) will still take just as long to load (but just wait to show anything) and rely on javascript so it might mess up for others.

    If you'd like to look into a loading bar type script, which is probably a good idea if you do decide to use something, look around the Dynamic Drives scripts area... there should be something there that can suit your needs.
