Default dynfader.js is loading slowly and last on pages

    Using dynfader.js
    http://dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex2/fader.htm

    on this site: http://www.bossradio.net

I had to use relative positioning in order to line up the header graphic with the right margin (outside edges).

The pages load okay, but the header comes in last, with too much of a delay after the rest of the page has already loaded.

Can someone tell me how to improve loadtime of header (which has dynfader.js in it)?

Firstly, I'd suggest validating that page.

By the nature of this script, the whole page has to load before the fader will appear - this is because it uses the "onload" statement.
Try optimising your graphics for the web.

    Thank you, cr3ative.

I had validated via Dr. Watson's site and got a clean bill of health.

Graphics were inherited in gif or jpg format. no source provided. Can you give suggestions on how to further optimise given these parameters? Save for Web in photoshop and save as less than high resolution?

I took some subpages off of HV menu and that helped load time considerably. I figured that all subpages had to preload and so the fewer, the better.

any help with image optimization is appreciated.
