CMD Net Send problems

I can't use net send on my network. My network is already set up. I use my laptop and PC to transfer files successfully. But for some reason i get this error in CMD:

An error occurred while sending a message to LAPTOP.

The message alias could not be found on the network.

Could it be because my laptop is connected through my router. Or maybe Norton is blocking netsend or something on my laptop?

There is no such message as NET HELPMSG 2273, only that of what I said in my previous post. If you type in "NET HELPMSG 2273" in the command prompt, you get the following:

The message alias could not be found on the network.

EXPLANATION

This message alias could not be located.

ACTION

Check the spelling of the message alias. If it is correct, then the computer tha
t is to receive your message may be busy. Try sending the message again later.

Of course, assuming you are using Windows XP.

Yea I saw screenshots of it (http://screenshots.modemhelp.net) when I had to troubleshoot an email problem for a customer that had just purchased Vista.
