Hi, well i found that script that would be perfect if..it wouldn't load on itself,
i'm a javascript noob and i can't make it work from a mouse click instead of being called on page load.
so my interest is for a person to stay on my page and have the interstitial overlay open if you click on a link.

i hope i was clear enough, the worst is that i'm pretty sure it will be an easy solution but i can't call the interstitial.js from a button, don't know why...

I'm considered an expert or at least pretty advanced and I had a heck of a time getting this script to work onclick instead of onload, I did finally figure out a way but, it's pretty complicated and I still haven't worked out the details as to where on the page things will appear and what happens to scrollbars at various stages of the display. It really isn't designed to work that way at all. This script:

is designed to work like that, though. See if its more what you are looking for. In the meantime, I will see if I can get the interstitial setup with a front-end to make it work more easily onclick and iron out those details as, it's code is more compact than the above linked script.

that's strange that the developper of the interstitial didn't think about onclick applications...great job you both anyway.

ps: i did that using layers to cheat a little and to find a quick solution ...
