Here's my new Windows Vista Desktop.
Sleekly and shiny, but not sure if it's secure.
That's why I have NIS.
EDIT: Or... If you're an ImageShack Hater/Can't use it here's a link:

Haha, I gave up on NIS years ago, it kept crashing my system (and it took up more memory than every other program I was running combined)That's why I have NIS.
I can't see the image... ImageShack, especially the US mirrors, can be very slow for us in the UK: the request usually times out.

More secure than any other Windows operating system. That is, as long as you installed antivirus software. I did and left everything else the way it was (in the security category, of course) and I haven't been hit by any malware yet. Well, I dunno about the BSoD caused by clicking a link, but...nothing anything could find. Except some program I can't remember the name of.Originally Posted by tech_support
I'll get some more shots and put them up here. Don't forget - I'll be online all day.
P.S. Twey - I won't use ImageShack.![]()

Anyway, what Anti Virus/Internet Security do you use?

I'm glad that avast is available for linux.
But i haven't had any problems with viruses yet, it took about a month for windows to become noticeably compramised.
It's really only of help for scanning Windows files, say on a fileserver. Most professional Linux anti-virus suites (such as ClamAV) are based around the assumption that you'll be doing that.I'm glad that avast is available for linux.

So.. There's no linux specific antivirus? i mean, there's really no point unless i login as root, i rarely do that, but when i do...
