I rarely use my desktop (aside from DLing some stuff). Instead, when I go on my computer, I open my own folder that has everything I need in it.
A link to a picture of my "desktop" folder:

(My screen res is 1024x768, but the image was shrunk.)

I'm using a randomly generated image from the PHP GD library, since I've been playing with that. Take a look here-- (and refresh to see the variations):

I'm assuming since this is screenshot stuff, that is "wallpaper"? If that is in fact your wall paper, based on the appearance I would expect to the left of said wall paper there are a ton of beads you have to walk through to gain entrance to the kitchen? Be careful not to walk over the lava lamp as you head into the kitchen to relieve the munchies...

Organized chaos with an active desktop to have a linked calendar and both time zones... easier than thinking about +3 when talking to east coast clients

Hahaha. Yeah, it's a bit overwhelming. But I'm using a wider render, so it's not quite so chaotic.
And my desktop is such a mess in the first place that it's all but unusable. I should clean it up at some point.
