Default Advanced RSS Ticker fade effects my navigation menu

    1) Script Title: Advanced RSS Ticker

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...rsstickerajax/

    3) Describe problem:
When I turn on Firefox ticker fade, it also effects the links in my navigation menu. No matter what I do, my navigation links come up faded. They will spring to full brightness if I hover over them once. But if I refresh the page, they will show up faded again.

I created a minimal test link that you can get to:

    My setup is:

    . Firefox 2.0.0.1
    . Mac OS X - 10.4.8

I've tried all sort of things to fix this to no avail. I really like the fade effect for the ticker and would prefer to use it.

Hmm I don't see this, and I'm using Firefox 2.x (windows)...

Man, these browser incompatibilities are such a pain. I guess there's nothing I can do about it. Maybe an update to Firefox for OS X will fix it. I wonder if I should report it as a bug to the Firefox folks...

...it IS a bug, see https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=301752

Thanks very much for giving it a try and saving my sanity.

Kudos on a very cool ticker. I learned a lot setting it up. It uses some interesting web technology, ajax, php, rss, all things I want to add to my skill set. It really does work great.

Not a problem. As I don't have access to a Mac, I can't really confirm the issue, though as mentioned, in Firefox windows, everything looks right.
