Add to homepage script - for firefox
Hi guys,
I have tried searching.. but I can't find anything.
When you view Yahoo! in IE and click add to homepage.. it does the normal thing - however if you view the Yahoo! page in Firefox.. it comes up with a drop down box.. and an icon you can drag into the 'home' icon.. to set the page as your homepage.
Can anyone tell me how to 1) Make it do different things for the browser 2) Come up with the icon.. a while script would be appreciated!
I hope you get what i mean and thanks for any help!

well, I don't think they're doing anything special. All you need to do is drag ANY linked image or text link to the home icon in FF and it says it'll become your home page.
So... make an icon, link it to your main page or whatever, then tell them to drag it to the home icon in the menu bar.

How do i make it recognise either FF or IE

Make what? If you're just talking about a linked img tag, then there's nothing to recognize. Drag and drop.
If you want to alternate between what is displayed based on the browser, then you should look into user agent detection. Kinda messy and doesn't always work right, so it might have errors.
