    Default ultimate fade-in slide show

    1) Script Title: Fade in Slide show

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamici...nslideshow.htm

    3) Describe problem: I currently use the above script, with an addition to include a description under the image....the display has always been random but client has asked for a sequential display...I remove the "R" as indicated but still get random display.....can't figure out why. Thanks in advance.

OK, in this case a link back to the script you are actually using, preferably to your live page, would be required. However, the "R" parameter is an optional true/false parameter. If you've left anything in its position as perceived by the script, it will still be invoked. Make sure that all of it:

    , "R"

is removed and that no other character exists at the end of the call:

    Code:
    new fadeshow(fadeimages, 140, 225, 0, 3000, 0)
that the script could mistake for a value. As I say, any value (other than false, undefined, null or 0 and perhaps even some of those) in the "R"'s slot will be seen to mean 'do random'.

If you are still having problems, I will need to see your page.
