Default Overlapping tabbed navigation in CSS

    1) CODE TITLE: Overlapping tabbed navigation in CSS

    2) AUTHOR NAME/NOTES: Shape Shed

    3) DESCRIPTION: A tutorial showing how overlapping tabbed navigation is possible in CSS and can be cross-browser compatible, accessible and javascript free. Overlaps should be avoided though if possible as they are hard to create and maintain. Here's one way of doing it though.

    4) URL TO CODE: http://www.shapeshed.com/journal/ove...gation_in_css/

Hmmm I'm not sure about this technique. Using images to basically create the entire overlapping interface is very cumbersome and ultimately not practical IMO.

I did an CSS overlapping menu a while ago that relies on just the markup for each menu item.
