IE Bug Anylink vertical menu

Is there a way of resolving this issue please?

I saw the white boxes, but only intermittently, and it doesn't seem to occur each time in IE7? I don't see what could be causing this other than perhaps the Flash slideshow to the right of the menu. The two overlapping wouldn't surprise me is the cause of the phatom boxes.
