Starfield Backround in Firefox

Hi.

I'm using this javascript (see attachment) for a starfield background.
It's working fine in IE but not at all in FF.
Can someone tell me what to do that it will work in both browsers?
Another thing that I don't understand is even if using CSS the background image I'm using inside DIV's are not showing in the same place or proportions in the 2 browsers.
Can this be adjusted that in looks the same in both browsers?
