Pop Up Image Viewer Problem in IE

I am using the above and when I pop up the image over a dropdown the dropdown appears through the pop up in IE workd fine in Firefox

Any clues as to how to address this problem other than repositioning the pop up image

This is unfortunately due to a rendering but in IE6 (not the script). Certain objects such as drop downs or flash will always bleed through a layer. In IE7 this is fixed. There are solutions around the problem in IE6, though they all involve using JavaScript, which defeats the purpose of this example (pure CSS). One solution is called Iframe shim.
