    Default password protect page

    My web password, for some reason does not work in IE7. Has anyone a simple applet that will protect a web page.Thank you

    Well, there are many scripts out there to protect your webpage, or an entire directory. What's your server's OS (ie: Linux)? For Linux one way is via .htacces, which doesn't even require a "script" per say: http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/password/ Or for an actual script, a decent PHP one is: http://www.mpdolan.com/login_redirect.htm

    For Linux one way is via .htacces
    .htaccess should work on any Apache server, no matter the OS on which it's running. Other servers implement .htaccess too.
