    Question Problem with a script in Blogger

    1) Script Title:
    Snow Effect

    2) Script URL (on DD):
    http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex3/snow.htm

    3) Describe problem:
    I cannot preview or save my template. Blogger shows me an error:

    Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly.
    XML error message: The entity name must immediately follow the '&' in the entity reference.

    No idea what the problem is

    Well, if you are using an ampersand, it really should be the named entity:

    &

    Otherwise, the parser might think it is the start of some other named entity.

    You could also be getting this error if Blogger thinks that the script is xml as, javascript often makes use of the logical and symbol:

    &&

    If this were thought to be xml, HTML or XHTML, it would of course be invalid.

    Also, that script is outdated. Here is a more recent version:

    The above example page is bubbles moving up. However, you can configure any images you like (snow for instance), as well as set the direction to go up or go down.
