a) Using this script in combination with Tabs Menu (mouseover) script doesn't work. The shared part regards the link appearance, which turns into this:

needed for Rich HTML Balloon Tooltip
needed for Tabs Menu (mouseover)
Only Rich HTML Balloon Tooltip script works in this case.
b) How may I choose to use arrowdown.gif instead of arrowup.gif?
c) How comes the arrow has jagged borders in Internet Explorer? I just edited the arrow and it appears like that:
