I need help, this is probably gonna sound stupid but how would i set up a link to a page that was password protected without having to type in the username and password box?

not sure you can, you'd have to create a whole nother page, unless you have the password thing open one page, and when that page loads, it transfers the user to the next, you could link to the next one.

Hiya,

Check your host, they normally have add on script libary to do this (if its a paying host) although I cant see how you could have a password protected page with out typing in a password on the page, there would be no way to access the page. If you want to be just a private page for you just dont put any links on your site for it and dont meta tag it, I do this for online storage sometimes. It may still come up on a search engine but so far down that it wont be found.
