    Default Making a banner

How can I make a banner with moving text and changing backgrounds, only using basic PhotoShop ? Is it possible ? If so, please explain to me step by step.

    No.

Flash would be a good option here (though incompatible with some browsers, so annoying).

If you need movement, you need a gif. PS supports GIFs but not animated ones.

Imageready that comes bundled with PS should work, but I hate that program... it's hard to use... there are free programs out there as well. Look for something called like "gif animator" or "gif creator"... lots of little share/freeware apps available.

animated gifs are more trouble than they're worth.

And that's a valid argument because??

Anyway, if you don't have the programs on comp to do this, googe "online animated gif creator"

There are tons of free online services that will do it for you.

The GIMP is good for animated GIFs, especially with the GAP extension.

Be careful and selective with the use of GIFs as banners.... they can, in many cases, be very annoying.
