html blog script?

ok, so im makin a blog site and the problem is i dont have a blog script.. all i want is an easy free html blog script. somthing i can customize with little skills.. um.. ya.. the only thing i want it to do is timestamp posts and maybe an admin like place to make new posts.. thanks!!

if you have your own server or a host that supports SQL and PHP then writing some blog code would be easy.

i do. and im workin on getting database to work on it too.. but i know that php and sql work on it.. i kinda want a blog script where i can use my photoshop skills ans make images for the background of easch post that can be streched by using slices but that way past me.. i can hardly do html.

if you have your own server or a host that supports SQL and PHP then writing some blog code would be easy.

It is better to use a well known and well tested script which i think available freely in the internet.

If there is enough time to develop the blog then it is ok developing that from scratch.
