    Default Flash "swliveconnect" help

Help!!! for a new member. Tearing hair out.

I'm trying to run a floating layer in "wmode transparent" into which a Flash move with "swliveconnect" with a call to a #javascript > play. This I can do.

Where I am coming unstuck is that I would like to get it to scroll down the page similar to a .js menu or marque. Any ideas?

Also with "swliveconnect" can I also use ("_myLocalConnection") to communicate, pass variables with another .swf on the page?

    Cheers

Never used the live connect. BUTTTT check out 12 Stone dot com: http://www.twelvestone.com/forum_thr...26863?offset=0

These guys seem to know what they are talking about, and they post a ton of links to adobe/macromedia specific help topics about SWFLC.

    Hope you find your answer!

Thanks looks like it works to a degree.
With regards to getting the layer containing Flash to float down the page as the client scrolls down. Any ideas?

    Cheers

Should be the same JS intensive script with any other menu/pop up. Just embed the Flash correctly and it should work.
