HOW TO: Help in creating a loader

Hi I have ans ASP.NET page. In that page there is an editor which takes quite some time to load. What I need is some kind of message to display while the editor/page is loading. May be something like "Loading editor. Please wait...". Is this possible please advise. I'm not much into Javascript so any code will be appreciated. Thank you.
