Mailing list/E-mail verification/Re-direct

Hi,
I am building a web site, and I need my first page have an e-mail request where the user puts in their e-mail address befor proceeding onto the rest of the site.

It also needs to be that the e-mail form can validate that the e-mail address they are putting in is an actul e-mail address. After it has validated the e-mail I need to have it document the e-mail address into a mailing list (txt,html) whatever.

After it has posted the address into a mailing list I need to have the script do a page redirect.

If someone could please point me in the right direction here I would be set.
