Default IE doesn't show flash object

    Easy question.
"How do I do a flash object tag in html?"
Except.... it works just fine in FF. (And Safari.)

I used dreamweaver to insert my flash object, 'cause I have no idea how to type my own flash embed tag, and assumed that a macromedia product would do it well.... strange.

Note: it doesn't work in IE6 for PC.

    Here's the page:

(Not much is up yet... in the center should be a flash intro... just a placeholder til I get more content, really.)

    Hoping it's a simple answer.

Might even by my flash plugin, but other flash items work.

I get a strange box around the area where the object should be and hovering reveals "click to activate"... but then I do and nothing. Right click reveals "movie not loaded."

    Ha. That's IE's "security feature"

I looked at the source. No "</embed>" tag.

It's not a security feature, it's a lost lawsuit. EOLAS sued MS for activeX controls and won. MS had to remove their controls, thus preventing the auto load of Flash content with JS-like attributes.

There are many fixes out there now for this, but the BEST is right here

    Enjoy

    PHP Code:
    $result mysql_query("SELECT finger FROM hand WHERE id=3");
    echo
    $result

Wow . I hope they won't sue Mozilla.
