Two SRCs on one page?

I'm having trouble getting 2 DD scripts to run on one page (menu & slideshow). The problem seems to be there's an SRC command "src=sniffer.js" in the head to run one script, and "src=menu.js" in the body to run another. I've tried putting both codes in either or both places, but only one or the other will run. WHAT am I missing? All help greatly appreciated!!
