Graphic artist interview questions?

Hi all,

when we conduct an interview for a graphic artist what are the important questions we should ask to make sure that they have enough talent to be recruited?

Expecting a whole hearted contribution from the fellow members

I assume this would be someone who does work in a image application to be used in web design?

First... do they know the program. Or do they know a program. Easy to switch, if they are smart enough.

Are they creative?

Are they fast?

Are they... nice?

Not really sure what else.

Do you like their work? Would others?

1) How well do they know the package your company uses?
2) Do they have samples of their work to show you?
3) How long did it take them to make each sample?
4) What do they want out of a career with your company
5) Where to they want to be in 5 years / 10 years (still in the company or elsewhere) show commitment to the company and help make investment decision in training!!
6) What makes them special (i.e why should be hire you in our company)
7) Team player (no man/woman is an island in a graphics company)
8) Willing to help others with skill sets and creative ideas??
9) What are they like at brainstorming concepts, problems etc

I could go on and on.. but you get the idea....
