Default Placing CSS/HTML menus in page

I'm new at this css stuff, but I do like it! my problem is how to place a menu (CSS and/or HTML code) into a specific box or content area of a CSS built page. I have found some nice ones on the web, but can't get them to go where I want them. Any ideas and instructions will be appreciated. Thanks,
    Steve

I am pretty sure that the CSS based menus listed here have all the required information about incorporating them in web pages.

If you were talking about a specific menu then please try to mention that menu name.

I'm new to CSS, too. But I need to figure out how to use CSS.

Perhaps I'm not looking in the right place, but I don't see any basic instruction on how to use the codes in the CSS menues on this site. I would also like to use a menu found here, but don't know what to do to set up a CSS application.

In addition, I need to learn the procedure for placing the "DD iFrame Tabbed Document Viewer" into a PHP site. The part that has me stumped is how to set up the html header files as a CSS file. I would like to be able to use it throughout my PHP(Joomla-based) site. I checked the folder for styles only to find so many CSS files that I have no idea where to start.

A simple step-by-step would be very helpful and appreciated.
