    I think tech_support was refering to the name Mozilla FireFox.

    I'm confused. The previous posts seemed to imply they are different.

    Actually i have a mozilla browser installed in my machine which is an old one. I have a mozilla firefox also in my machine.

    The point is after a particular point developers of mozilla browser stopped working on the Mozilla browser as such and started a new browser and continued with it which is Mozilla FireFox.

    Certainly looks that way.

    I know several people on Usenet were grumbling about the loss of the Mozilla suite which they much preferred over separate applications. I don't think they were aware of SeaMonkey - it might not have existed at the time.
