i thought it was just a case of putting an img source tag in too but it doesn't work:
PHP Code:
<div class="menutitle" onclick="SwitchMenu('sub2')">2. Improving services and activities
<span class="submenu" id="sub2">
<img width="96" height="103" src="benefits_clip_image001.jpg"> </div>
Providing services to users is the reason an organisation gets into working in the voluntary sector in the first place. Anything that improves the standard of that service must therefore be welcome.
Doing things ‘better’ is most often a result of certain factors:
<ul>
<li>Comparison to others doing alike service, (Benchmarking)</li>
<li>Reviewing existing methods</li>
<li>Researching client views</li>
<li>‘Practice making perfect’</li>
</ul>
All quality systems will include reviewing the above factors on a regular basis, ensuring the value of your service delivery.
“It gives you an opportunity to re-look at all aspects of your work and see how you can work better and be effective, responsive and flexible in future”
Ian Newton, Deputy Chief Officer of Mansfield CVS - PQASSO, Volunteering England standards, Investor in People
“Although we were dragged into quality assurance systems, kicking and screaming, in the first instance, we have used some of these systems to enable us to improve our service, be aware of good practice and become more professional”
Sandy Smith, General Manager, Hope in Bassetlaw - QAF accredited, Matrix and PQASSO
“The process (of adopting PQASSO and the Common Inspection Framework) was not onerous and has been useful in all aspects of our work, so I would recommend them to any organisation aiming to improve and to monitor and evaluate more effectively”.
Fiona Corbett, Training, Employment and Development Project Manager,
Nottingham Womens Centre
”Very useful tool for evaluation of service provision.”
Sally Gray, Coordinator, Mansfield and North Notts Society for Deaf People
“Focusing attention on aspects of service delivery or provision (staff) which have previously been neglected”
Barbara Anne Walker, Chief Officer, Self Help Nottingham – Telephone Helplines Standard
