Default CMS :: PHP, Flex, Java & XML???

    Hi All,

Wanted everyones opinions... In the past day I have seen a CMS designed entirely in Java and SQL, One using Flex by Macromedia (Adobe... Just sounds wrong , One done in XML using Flash and the usual one's done using PHP... Any ideas? I want to build one that will be good for future projects, so I guess I want to go down the best root for that...

    Cheers,
    Tom

    A Java CMS
If you have some "projects", then you should definitely use a standard PHP based CMS.

Java is a programming language. It's not a markup langauge, or even server side programming language. It's what many professional applications are made in.
    As such, yes, it's complex.

PHP is the standard, so makes sense. It also by default does things like forms and database integration, so that helps make it the ideal choice.

What does everyone think of Adobe Contribute? Is it worth using this?
