    Angry Cross Browser Marquee II

    Cross Browser Marquee 2

I have that script, and it works just fine in my page. The only problem is that when I put in that script, another script I have working in the page disappears. The one that disappears is the HV menu 9.5 which is found here. I know that with that menu, you cannot have any other menu script on the page or else it messes up. But I know you can use different scripts with it and it will work because I have done it before. Does anyone know how to fix this or if it even can be fixed?

    Many thanks,

    Mel

There is a link in my signature about how to deal with multiple scripts, as they are obviously conflicting. You will need to spend quite some time dealing with it however, so be prepared

OK looking through my scripts, I've been trying to find conflicts in the scripts. But seeing as I'm a complete dunce at this, I'm having a bit of trouble. I was hoping someone could tell me what this means:

    trigger.onload

I didn't create the script, and I don't know A THING about Javascript, so I don't know if trigger is a variable or not...what I basically want to know is if this would in any way conflict with a window.onload event handler.

OK nevermind that, I figured it out. I found a "window.onload=startscroll" in the marquee script and I moved that to the body tag and now it works. Thanks for the great link, cr3ative!
