apparently not installed.. but... installed.... right....

when i want to use flash player to play some content like on youtube, if i want to play a video it says flash player not installed but then when i go to adobe website to install it, it says "Adobe flash player successfully installed" using a flash image lol. so i dno whats up if anybody knows how to fix this or needs more info, please help!

Sometimes coding on sites is bad. They will embed their Flash to check if Flash/Shockwave Player is installed, and then run. And usually, for video especially, the client will have the program, but another, say Winamp or REAL is set to override and be the default player.

When this other player tried to run a Flash player file it fails and you get your error.

Sometimes turning off the defualt player will cure it, other times a refresh on the site will do it, and yet other times using a different type of browser will do the trick.
