Kissing Trail Not working in Dreamweaver

3) Describe problem: I have used this script before in MS Publisher so I know it works however when I add it to a site created in Dreamweaver the trail does not work when in a scrolling window. The trails will only work in the initial visible window, with each scroll click the trail gets further away from the mouse pointer and never.

Any ideas please, this is driving me mad!!

1. link to your site (or at least post the code).
2. DW will do strange things to your scripts, sometimes. The only way to fix it is to look at the code, not have it write it for you.

Hi the code is not at fault as it works elsewhere as previosuly stated. I Am using DW 8 for the first time so it's a bit of a mine field however I figured out the problem. In DW 8 there is a DOCTYPE declaration which conflicts with your script. Removal of the this declaration allows the trails to function as expected. I'm just unclear on the implication of removing this declaration. All seems fine when previewed in Firefox an I.E.
