Anylink drop down [Help!]

I am using the Anylink drop down menu from this page:

, but I am trying to get a second level menu item (item 1>> item 1.1 >> item 1.1.1), and I get assorted error messages, mainly one Undefined object or something alike.
Was wondering if there was a way to work around this problem or if this dropdown menu is not what I should be using ...

Use a multilevel menu:

So there is no way to make this a multi level one?
