    Can the above slideshow's border color be changed? If so ... how?

    Thanks,

    Default Your Menu Creates Unwanted Popups

    sorry, this post does not apply to your topic, but this forum will not allow me to start a new thread and there is no functioning e-mail address to the authors of the scripts that are posted for public use here. But my topic is:

    YOUR MENU CREATES UNWANTED POPUPS

    I have tried to import your HV menu from dynamicdrive.com, but after
    installing realized that this was creating unwanted advertising popup
    windows to any visitors to the website.

    This is aggressive behavior that I DO NOT want to be a part of my website.

    1)How do I remove the code that creates these popup windows?

    2)Please add this information up front in all your help description
    files. If your script is available for public use it shouldn't
    contain hidden advertising without letting the user know what they
    are getting.

    Thanks Mark ... so there is no one and/or no answer to be had to my question? I was hoping another user would be able to help me. I see how to change the background color but there doesn't seem to be a border color stipulated (it's purple). Sure hope I don't discover popups! Good luck with getting that part of your script removed. Thanks again, Linda

    that's just default border color.
    you can use style class or in the <img>tag:

    instead of:
    border="1"

    use something like this:
    style="border: 1px solid #FF0000"

    ...Son, I have no clue what in the h3ll you are talking about. Please, please, PLEASE debug your problems before you point fingers...I am not the author, but an independant third party, and because your accusations against DD and the scripts they provide, I took a look at the script in question. NOWHERE in the code is there anything remotely related to causing pop-ups. To take it a step further, I uploaded the script to the web, and no pop-ups occurred.

    Hi

    TO change the border colour, change the following image line in the script:
    leftrightslide[0]='<a href="http://"><img src="dynamicbook1.gif" border=1></a>'
    to:
    leftrightslide[0]='<a href="http://"><img src="dynamicbook1.gif" style="border: 1px solid #FF0000"></a>'
    Very Best Rgds, Simonf :cool:

    @thebrink: I agree with Minos. I expect you have Adware on your system causing the popups. Use www.security.kolla.de 's Spybot S&D.
