Default HVMenu Hiding HTML Select only for certain menu items

    1) Script Title: HVMenu

    2) Script URL (on DD): http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/hvmenu/

    3) Describe problem:
    Hello All,

What I would like to do is hide an html select element ONLY WHEN CERTAIN MENUS are highlighted. For example, if I have a total of 4 menu options, I want to hide the html select when Menu2 is highlighted but not when Menu1, Menu3 or Menu4 is. I found a script on http://www.burmees.nl/menu/menus.htm (FAQ #8) that works to hide the html select but this script will hide the html select whenever ANY menu element (that has children) is highlighted.

Does anyone know how to do this? Any help would be appreciated.

I am using the following version:
    (c) Ger Versluis 2000 version 5.5 24 December 2001 (updated Jan 31st, 2003 by Dynamic Drive for Opera7)
Updated 19 July, 2003 by GV for CSS CompatMode

    Thanks.

These multi-level menus are so complicated, use the one that works. If you can be happy with a menu that is only one level deep, I have adapted at least one version of anylink to drop over selects:
