how to hide html page's code

how can I prevent visitors form seeing my html page's code, I have seen programs that encrypte pages but that would require enourmous changes, and what they do is encrype it and what i would like is something that simply doesn´t allow the view of the code like i have seen in some pages.
can you help me

As most code is in a standard format (HTML,JAVA etc etc), Why would you really want to do this, as it would slow the pages down as the de-encypt still has to take place on the users machine, so what would you gain?? Have you written code that you feel is so special/what's the logic in your request??
