Script: DHTML Calculator with receipt output

How can I modify this script to calculate financial data, e.g. interest rate, mortgage rate/repayments, etc. I have searched the internet for those kinds of scripts, but couldn't find any. If anyone have suggestion or links to existing scripts, please let me know.
