    Treat the entire code of Step 1 from the demo page as though it were:

    HTML Code:
    <p>Hi there</p>
    If you look at it that way, you can put it anywhere you like.

    If that is all you have on your page, that is all you will see. Anyways, that is not exactly what I meant. I meant to treat the entire script as if it were a paragraph. Try this code:

    HTML Code:
    <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/1999/REC-html401-19991224/loose.dtd">

    <title></title>
    <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

    </head>
    <body>
    <div>Hello World!</div><br>&nbsp;
    <script type="text/javascript">

    Things on a page generally don't go anywhere by themselves. It is the other things around them that cause them to appear where they do. You can also place an element around the script and give that element a left margin or virtually any other style you like:

    HTML Code:
    <div style="margin-left:5em;">
    entire script goes here
    </div>
