    Default Submit script question

    Hey

I just wondered if people that submit scripts are still being added to the site?

Reason I ask is that I emailed 2 scripts to Dynamic Drive on the 30th Dec 04. Do we get a reply back letting us know they have or haven't been included?

Am just curious cause then if the scripts weren't good enough I can try and improve them even more.

    Thanks

From what I've picked up, submitted scripts take an age to get through the rigorous checking process. Expect to wait quite a lot longer than 10 days

Well, we do try and keep the "Last reviewed script" date up to date on our Submit page: http://www.dynamicdrive.com/submitscript.htm Currently it reads Dec 12th, 2004, so I pressume any script before then has already been reviewed. Unfortunately due to time constraints, you typically won't get a reply unless we're interested in featuring it.

Just FYI, there are many reasons why a script may not get featured, even great ones. We try and find scripts that are not only highly useful and cross browser functional, but also unique relative to existing scripts in our archive. No point in featuring a script that's already been duplicated function wise by another script on DD.

I'm afraid there is no way to cure this problem, Abhishek.

You will need to move the menu or the flash.

Default Submitting fixes to approved scripts

I have added a couple of lines of code to the fade-in slideshow that enables the fades to work in Safari. Is the procedure for posting additions/fixes to scripts the same as petitioning for adding new ones? IE: post them here?
    Thanks,
    Max
