    Look at it with your monitors brightness and contrast on full and see if you cant find it in the lower left corner of the 'eye box' within a minute. Very strange.

    I can't see it, I'm afraid. Of course, my eyes are pretty odd anyway.

    I ramped the gamma on my graphics card, and whilst I saw lots of JPEG artifacts, there was no animation. Anyway, I've never seen any evidence that a JPEG, on its own, can ever be animated.

    No JPEGs cant be animated. Strangely enough i had a video playing under the browser window in Win media player and when I closed it I dident see the flash on my graphic anymore. Whatever i suppose

    aaaaah, your video card uses color replacement overlays and part of video was "lurking" from behind of black content of JPEG. Can happen often, especially with older VGAs
